How to Get to Enchanted Cove Resort

Getting to our quiet cove in Bucas Grande Island is simple with the right directions. Below are the easiest and most reliable routes whether you’re coming from Siargao, Surigao City, Cebu, or flying in from Manila or Clark.
If you want a stress-free trip, we can arrange private vans and private boats for you.

Arriving From Manila or Clark

Option 1

Manila → Siargao Airport

Option 2

Clark → Siargao

Many international travelers choose Clark → Siargao because the fares are often much lower than Manila flights.

Option 3

Manila → Cebu → Siargao or Surigao City

A flexible, budget-friendly option:

  • Then choose:
    ✔ Cebu → Siargao Airport
    ✔ Cebu → Surigao City Airport

Arriving From Cebu

You now have three good options:

Option A

Cebu → Siargao (Flight)

Then follow the Siargao section below.

Option B

Cebu → Surigao City (Flight)

Often smooth and convenient.
Follow onward instructions under the Surigao City section.

Option C

Overnight Ferry from Cebu to Surigao City

A scenic and cost-friendly route.

From Surigao Port:

  • OR let us arrange a private van to pick you up directly
    Then continue to Hayanggabon Port, where your boat awaits.

Arriving From Siargao Island

By Public Van + Ferry

Step 1 — Siargao Airport → Dapa Port

Step 2 — Dapa Port → Socorro (Ferry)

 Schedules: 6:30 AM, 10:00 AM, 2:30 PM

Option C

Step 3 — Socorro Port → Enchanted Cove Resort

There are no public commuting boats going directly to our resort from Socorro Port. Only private hire boats operate in this area.

For your convenience, we can arrange a private boat with trusted local boatmen.
You pay the same rate whether you book through us or hire locally:

  • ₱2,500 per boat (4–10 passengers)
    Travel time: 30–40 minutes

Arriving From Surigao City

Private Van Transfer (Recommended)

We can arrange a private van directly to Hayanggabon Port.

Public Transport (Cheapest Option)

From Surigao Airport:

At the terminal:

Look for vans or buses heading toward: Tandag, Cantilan, Madrid, or Carascal
These routes pass by Hayanggabon Port.
Tell the conductor: “Please drop me at Hayanggabon Port.”

Travel time: 2.5- 3 hours
Only recommended during daytime, as afternoon trips are limited.

Hayanggabon Port → Enchanted Cove Resort

There are no public commuting boats from Hayanggabon Port to our resort. Travel is by private hire boat only.

We work directly with local boatmen and can arrange your transfer easily.
You pay the same rate as hiring directly:

  • ₱2,000 per boat (1–3 passengers)

     

  • ₱2,500 per boat (4–10 passengers)
    Travel time: 30–40 minutes

How long is the boat ride to the resort?

Coming from Hayanggabon port mainland 30–40 minutes, same goes from Socorro port. If coming from Dapa port it's about 2.5 hours boat ride.

What is the easiest route?

Flying into Siargao or Surigao City and arranging our private van + boat is the simplest.

Are there public boats going directly to the resort?

No. Both Socorro Port and Hayanggabon Port only have private hire boats. We can arrange one for you.

Can you arrange every part of the trip for me?

Yes — van, boat, timing, everything.

Is commuting from Surigao safe?

Yes, but only travel by van/bus during daylight hours (limited trips late afternoon).

What are the ferry times from Siargao (Dapa → Socorro)?

6:30 AM • 10:00 AM • 2:30 PM

Is the Cebu → Surigao City ferry daily?

Usually yes, departing around 7 PM, but schedules should be checked before travel.
